Our Churches The association of Independent Evangelical Christian Churches was born out of the ministry of Missionary Abel Aureli and his family in the province of Frosinone, Italy. Frosinone is a province with 91 cities, towns and villages, with a population of a half-million. Only 500 of them are born-again Christians. We have our missionary base in the main city, also named Frosinone, which has about 50,000 people. Only 15 of the 91 communities have any of these disciples living among them. The other 76 have no abiding witness. Today, by the grace of God, we have started four independent churches in the province — in Frosinone, Atina, Sora, and Veroli — two of which are still being pastored by Abel. This is, of course, until God raises up someone to take care of these churches. Our immediate goal is to teach and train a group of six young local people who will help us put Gospel literature in every home in the province. We will follow then with public preaching of the Gospel in the main squares of the towns: with tent meetings, the movie "Jesus", and with dramas. We will then follow up on those souls who have either accepted Christ in their hearts or at least have shown some interest and desire to know more about God.
